Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist currently competing with the Flyweight Division of UFC. Valentina Shevchenko who was a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC fellow fighter is her elder sister. Antonina Shevchenko is who is a Muay Thai kickboxer, began her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. She went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. The league was dissolved in 2018, Shevchenko joined Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her striking skills that were superior in the final clinch through knees to the body. Antonina took an UFC deal following her win. Antonina made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale in a fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi with the unanimous verdict. But, she fell in her second bout due to the split decision. Antonina recovered from this loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. This earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner during her subsequent three bouts beating Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina recently lost by TKO in the second round to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
