The dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed as did his mom Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Then, Baker along with his father moved to Denver in the area where they stayed together with his father's aunt. Baker was bullied by fellow youngsters because of his poor status. When he was in sixth grade, he began listening to rap. Colson Baker popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, in Texas in the U.S. He is known for fusing hip-hop that is contemporary and alternative with rock music in his compositions. Baker released four mixtapes prior to signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. Delivering lyrics with the speed of a train, this Cleveland rapper saw a meteoric rise in late 2011 when he made the transition from cranking out self-released mixtapes to working on reputable label. The following years saw each album of his charted at number 10.
