Miesha Theresa

Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial arts expert. Tate is also an experienced mixed martial arts expert. Tate participated in the Ultimate Fighting Championships as well as being the UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Her birthplace was in Tacoma and has been very active in sport since high school. Based on a recommendation by an acquaintance, when she was enrolled in Central Washington University she began to attend the mixed martial art team. At the age of 20, she took part in her first professional fight to Elizabeth Posener, who specialized in Muay Thai. She first made her appearance as a professional at the One-Night Women's HOOKnSHOOT Grand Prix, which took place in 2007. Within two years, she was the Women's Champion of the FCF for the first time. Tate was praised for her Brazilian Jiu-jitsu style and wrestled. In the following years, her renown rose when she became first female to win the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship. As part of her mixed martial sports career, she has a modeling career on different websites and magazines like "ESPN The Magazine" and "Fitness Gurls".
